Activities

Guests at Mbweni Ruins Hotel can enjoy a variety of activities including kayaking as well as excursions to the nearby Chumbe Island. Trips to Stone Town or other nearby islands can be arranged on request. The Mangrove Bar perches over the ocean, ideal for evening sundowners. Other exciting activities include dhow trips to the islands and sandbanks opposite the hotel, swimming, fishing, diving, snorkelling as well as nature trails to see the spice plantations, stone town and swim with dolphins.
